About the Element
Lawrencium is a radioactive synthetic "rare earth metal". It is likely a silvery-white or gray-metallic color, however, it's true appearance is unknown. Large amounts of Lawrencium may pose a radiation hazard. This element is too unstable to be found naturally on planet Earth.

About the Print
Seeing as though Lawrencium poses a highly radioactive threat, I created a design that radiates from the middle out. All colors used were mixed with silver ink to create a metallic "look". This print is a reduction linocut made up of 4 quarters pieced together.
